Für eine Gruppenausstellung am 21.12.2012 mit dem Titel "Wandel" möchte ich ein hinterleuchtetes Selbstporträt anfertigen. Die linke Gesichtsseite wird in Öl gemalt. Für die rechte Seite habe ich bereits einen Scherenschnitt erstellt der auf eine satinierte Acrylplatte geklebt wird. Seitlich soll dann ein LED Streifen für die Hinterleuchtung sorgen. Ich möchte dann die Acrylplatte auf die Leinwand kleben und das Bild in einem Schattenfugenrahmen präsentieren. Das Netzteil für den LED Streifen wird später am Schattenfugenrahmen angesteckt werden. Das Bild soll sowohl mit, als auch ohne Hinterleuchtung wirken. Durch den Scherenschnitt möchte ich die Struktur des Gesichtes betonen, die das Alter nicht mehr erkennen läßt. Ich könnte sowohl 50, als auch 60 Jahre alt sein. Die Seite in Öl soll faltenfrei und jünger wirken. Es soll die Alterung einer Frau darstellen. Der Wandel von jung bis alt. Die Falten sollen jedoch hinterleuchtet sein. Ich möchte damit darstellen, dass Altern nicht negativ sein muss. Ich wünsche mir im Alter tiefe Lachfalten.:-)
I would like to make a backlit self portrait for a group exhibition titled 'Change'. The left side of the face is painted in oil. For the right side I made already a papercut which is glued to an satin acrylic plate. A LED strip is places on the right side for the backlight. I would then fix the acrylic plate on the canvas and present the image in a floater frame. The power supply for the LED strip will plugged to a connector in the frame. The image should work both with and without backlight. The silhouette should emphasise the structure of the face. The viewer should not guess the age. I could be both, 50 and 60 years old. The face-side in oil should be without wrinkles and much younger. It should represent the aging of a woman. The change from young to old. The folds should be however backlit. Thus, I would like to present that aging must be non-negative. I hope i'll have deep laughter lines. I work on it :-)
