Ich versuche mich ständig an neuen Stilen um endlich meine eigene Handschrift zu finden. Ich denke, ich bin dem Ziel mit diesen Portraits etwas näher gerückt. Diese Portraits entstanden nach Vorlagen, die Künstler auf Flickr online stellen. Der Name der Gruppe ist Julia Kays Portrait Party. Ich zeichnete ein Wochenende lang abends vor dem Fernseher. Ich war an diesem Wochenende Strohwitwe, da mein Mann auf einer Messe war. Der Fernseher diente zur Geräuschkulisse. Die Portraits zeichnete ich mit Bleistift und Knetgummi-Radierer in das große Moleskine sketchbook und fixierte sie anschließend.
I always try new drawing-styles to find my own one. I think I approached the aim a little more with these sketches. The portraits were drawn from photo references by other artists in a flickr group called Julia Kays Portrait Party. I drew a whole weekend at night in front of the tv. I was a grass widdow at this weekend. My husband visited a fair. The TV was for the background noise. I drew the portraits with pencil and kneaded eraser in the big moleskine sketchbook and fixed them afterwards.
